Refurbished laptops are usually late model used laptops that were returned for any number of reasons. They may have been too light, too big, too small, the wrong color, or they didn't quite work as expected. Many times, they are excellent laptops returned because it was the end of a leasing period.

So, these are used laptops. They can no longer be sold as "new." They are then thoroughly checked, tested, and certified, and sold at a huge discount.

I always recommend you check the warranty and the return policy before any purchase. While a limited warranty is usually provided, the period is often shorter than a new computer, usually 90 days. But so what? You'll be getting a great price!
