Mini PC
A type of mini-computer that uses a very small case. Sometimes called a
"cube," this mini PC was first developed by Shuttle Corporation of Taiwan.
The vital components in a mini-PC must meet rigid design requirements in order to fit well into the
mini-PC case and function well with ventilation and fan limitations that is evident in such a small space.
Heat is always a problem in any computer. Therefore, the manufacturer of the case often will also manufacture some
or all of the key components.
While mini-PC's are practical for those with severe computer space limitations, many people buy them
primarily because of their novelty.
