Hyperlink
A link can appear as a graphic or text. Text links are usually in
another color than the other text on the page and is sometimes underlined. The standard color of a text
link is medium blue, however other colors are also used.
When you click on a text or graphic link with a mouse, you either:
1. Transport or "jump" the viewer to another website or another webpage on the same website.
2. If it is a download link, it will initiate the downloading of a software program to your computer.
3. Launch (or open) a helper application, such as an email program.
4. If a banner graphic, you will be transported or "jump" to the advertiser's website.
