The computer case is a chassis, or shell enclosure, that contains the computer's components and other internal items. Cases come with a power supply device that regulates electrical power to internal items.

Note: The term "CPU" is often incorrectly used to refer to the computer's case. However, the CPU is a component within the case, it is not the case.
