Cache Module

This refers to an L2 cache module which is embedded on the motherboard. When purchasing a motherboard separately (as when building your own computer), some may not contain an L2 cache. This happens far less frequently now-a-days. But, when this does happen, the L2 cache module must be purchased separately and installed.
