Broadband
1) Broadband has come to be known as a type of
high-speed Internet connection over fiber-optic telephone
lines, with a download speed fast enough for streaming video
(such as ADSL). Broadband is not widely available.
2) Broadband is better defined as a standard in the
transmition of multiple signals (voice, video, and data) at the
same time. This is done by dividing the total capacity into
several bandwidth channels, with each channel operating within
a specific range of frequencies.
