Bay
Drive Bay
A shelf designed to hold disk drives. Two or three will be visable from the front of newer computer cases,
these are for CD and DVD players and perhaps a floppy disk drive. Some bays, such as those for
hard disks, are inside the computer cabinet and are not visible to the user. A drive bay will have a
metal bracket device with holes for sescure installation.
