AGP - Accelerated Graphics Port

An Accelerated Graphics Port, AGP, is a type of I/O (in/out) bus port found on many upper-end computers. It allows 3D imaging software to have accelerated access to RAM Memory. This provides enhanced image rendition which means superior quality graphics.
